Finance Transformation Lead (6-month contract)

Role Details
This is a 6-month transformation role with potential to extend, based in Thailand or Scandinavia, working closely with teams across multiple countries.
What you will be doing
We are seeking an innovative and proactive Finance Transformation Lead to support Diakrit’s finance organisation across our Scandinavian entities, as part of a broader international finance environment.
In this role, you will navigate the complexities of our business and finance operations across multiple markets, identify inefficiencies, and implement streamlined, scalable processes that support a more cohesive global finance function.
You are someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes end-to-end, and helping teams work more efficiently. You will work cross-functionally across Finance, as well as with systems and data teams, contributing to Diakrit’s international finance transformation agenda with a focus on simplification, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
Your initial focus will be on redesigning accounts receivable, credit, rebates, accounts payable, and procurement processes within our Scandinavian entities, with the goal of developing solutions that can scale across the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Assessment:
Conduct a thorough analysis of existing processes to identify chaos points, manual handling, and bottlenecks.
Engage stakeholders across departments to understand their challenges and gather insights on inefficiencies.
Process Design and Implementation:
Develop and implement clear, simple, and scalable finance processes that enhance operational efficiency.
Lead the overhaul of the AR and collections processes to improve cash flow and minimize overdue accounts.
Implement clear procurement and AP processes through standardisation, improved controls, and streamlines approval workflows.
Project and Change Management:
Lead transformation programs of varying scale, ensuring cross-functional stakeholder alignment, governance, and smooth change.
After the successful implementation of AR and AP improvements, lead additional projects, including;
Finance Function Insourcing: Lead the migration of outsourced finance functions to an in house team.
Consolidated Model Rebuild: Set up group consolidation in Netsuite, ensuring data integrity.
Management Reporting: strengthen and build-out the reporting / FP&A, BI, and systems, to support the senior leadership in decision making.
Performance Monitoring:
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the success of implemented processes.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on progress and improvements.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Extensive experience in finance transformation, process improvement, or related roles, ideally in complex environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of driving process improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results under pressure.
Fluent Swedish is required, as the first phase of the work will focus on our Scandinavian entities.
Familiarity with the Scandinavian real estate market and its unique challenges is a plus.
