We are now looking to strengthen our Service Desk Team in Bangkok, Thailand, and are looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to be part of our team. The focus will be on improving our in-house developed web systems, to identify, investigate and correct bugs to keep our users (internal/external) experiences smooth.
The work tasks will focus on supporting our first and second line IT support team, with your deeper knowledge of front- and backend development, digging into existing code to identify, understand and solve issues.
You will report to our IT Service Manager and will be part of an IT team of 5 employees as well as part of the entire IT/R&D department of about 15.
This role is mainly a remote (work from home) position, but there will be the occasional need to come to our office or data center locations. Because of this, it is an advantage if you live in Bangkok - However, it is not a hard requirement.

To fit into this role, you need to have a genuine interest and experience in working with Full Stack PHP/Vue.js development. You enjoy working with team work in an international environment, and get challenged by solving the most tricky bugs. You are used to working in an organized manner, meeting deadlines and managing your time efficiently. You have a sharp, logical mind, great problem solving skills, and you see possibilities and solutions where others see problems. You are used to taking your own initiatives and you work to improve things all the time.
We believe you have:
- Expert knowledge in Vue.js
- Expert knowledge in PHP 7 (OOP with MVC architecture)
- Expert knowledge in Laravel
- Expert in MySQL, design, and scaling
- Good knowledge in Linux & Git
- Good understanding of automated testing
- Understanding of scalability and HA
- Understanding of Docker
- Been exposed to Redis
- Very good knowledge in English, both verbal and written
- Experience working with western culture/international mindset
- University degree within relevant area is preferable, but not required
