I started my career with DIAKRIT when I read an interesting article about virtual reality in the real-estate industry in a Swedish business journal, and it turned out to be DIAKRIT that provided this service. To be honest, I had never heard about the company before that time, but it seemed to be a very interesting and innovative organization, so I kept reading about them. Some people in my network confirmed my initial thoughts about the company so I decided to get in touch, which eventually ended up in a summer internship in Bangkok. I also had the opportunity to write my thesis with DIAKRIT during spring 2017.
Most importantly, my journey is continuing -after graduation I packed by bags, and jumped on a plane to join DIAKRIT as their Management Trainee in Bangkok.

My experience doing an Internship with DIAKRIT
There are so many positive things to say about the internship and for me it was a perfect match -the experience gave me a lot in terms of professional and personal development during the eight weeks. One of the things I appreciated the most was the focus and efforts put into my personal learning and growth. My supervisors were always very supportive and put a lot of effort in giving me a project that suited my preferences and my learning goals. I was given a very challenging project with a lot of responsibility and freedom, which suited me perfectly!
Living & working in Bangkok
I’ve been in Bangkok before as a tourist which brought certain expectations and even some preconceptions about the city to be honest. But in fact, living the “expat life” and working with a well-established and serious company didn’t fit into my preconceptions at all. At DIAKRIT you’ll work on the 34:th floor in a super modern skyscraper in one of Bangkok’s most uprising business districts. After work you are always just a few subway stations from either world class sky bars or some of South East Asia’s best night markets. This is a city with many faces, which is one of the most captivating qualities of Bangkok.
My recommendations for future students wanting to work with DIAKRIT
Are you interested in working with a fast growing Tech-company in an exciting and dynamic market? If you also like to manage your own projects with a lot of freedom and responsibility in combination with a strong focus on your personal and professional development, you should get in touch with DIAKRIT. Even though it’s currently 450+ employees within the organization I still got that engaging startup feeling at the office. Did I tell you there is a ping-pong table in the lunchroom?
